My grade 10 history class was visiting Upper Canada Village (a mock 1860 English loyalist village) just over the border in Ontario the other day. I had been there before, and nothing much there was interesting. My two friends and I were wondering around away from the crowd when we stepped into what we though might be a lean-to. An old guy pretending to be a poor worker invited us in. We started chatting and the conversation went from him telling us who he was pretending to be, to the economic state of the 1800's. The conversation eventually drifted to Freud and such. He told us that that history has three parts, political, economic and social
